Croatian Association of Artists, in cooperation with the Kindergarten "Zapruđe" and HEP - Distribution System Operator, organized an artistic intervention at the substation.
This mural was created for the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, Croatian writer. She has been praised as the best Croatian writer for children. It was in 1913 when her book The Brave Adventures of Lapitch (Čudnovate zgode šegrta Hlapića) was published that really caught the literary public's eye. Her book Croatian Tales of Long Ago (Priče iz davnine), published in 1916, is among the most popular today. She was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature four times.
The motifs for the mural are inspired by the story Stribor’s Forest (Šuma Striborova) from the book Croatian Tales of Long Ago and The Brave Adventures of Lapitch.
